It was a beautiful day at the Loews Hotel in Santa Monica, CA and Christine Plotkin was getting married. I provided hair styling for the blushing bride and a few bridesmaids, while an old friend provided makeup. Here are some pictures capturing the bride in the moments before "I do." First, a beautiful young woman becomes a stunning bride. She embraces the traditions of her family & home Dubai, and her subsequent American up-bringing.





She asked to have the dramatic makeup typical of her culture but to make it more natural, or American to her taste. I did this and also transformed her mid-length locks into a unique up-do to support her garments and hair jewelry. Sana's makeup and hair easily made the transition between modern and traditional.

Alana asked for her natural beauty to shine while giving her an elegance the occasion called for; I think she got that!
